Disney has founded a basis for women everywhere as an archetype for social behavior. Because Disney is at the heart of American pop culture now, in order to exist in our society, we must liken ourselves to the stereotypes set forth by this company. Although to some this may seem to be a bad thing because women are forced not to be individuals but instead to be princesses, I positively see myself as the native american princess, Pocahontas. My love of nature and Native American roots tie me best with her. Like Pocahontas when I fall in “love” I usually protect and stand up for what I believe is my future “john smith” but it never works out and I’m normally wrong and I move on to the next guy. Pocahontas thought she knew everything like every other teenager and loved animals. She was definitely a daddies girl; me too.
Pocahontas was a very curious person and loved learning about new things and experience new ideals. I also will try anything once. she is very furtive, for exampe when she sneeks off to go see the ship come into the bay where she lives. The way I am furtive or sneeky is when i want something i beat around the bush and hint at what i really want.
